  2. The population of Yakutia makes 949 753 persons. Relative density of urban population — 64,3 %, population density — 0,3 persons/kilometers ². Thus, population density in Yakutia is one of the lowest among subjects of the Russian Federation.

  3. In Yakutia the indigenous population - the Tjursky people of a nationality Sakha prevails. The second place on number – Russian and the third – Ukrainians. National structure
