Reviewing your Classes • Every class you are registered for will prepare you for high school • Course preparation for High school graduation ( review graduation requirements, link to current courses) College entrance requirements: A- G classes • College Preparatory and A-G classes in middle school Career objective: • College prep classes and electives

High School Graduation • Fresno Unified School District requires 230 credits to graduate • Most courses are worth 5 credits a semester • A grade “C” or better is needed to receive credit for an A-G course • Complete all homework • Ask for help when you need it • In High School passing grades equal credits

College and University Requirements • English – 4 years (40 credits) • Math – 3 years, 4 years recommended (30-40 credits) • Science – 2 years (20 credits) • Social Science – 2 years (20 credits) • Visual and Performing Art – 1 year (10 credits) • Foreign Language – 2 years, 3 years recommended (20-30 credits) • College Preparatory Electives – 1 year (10 credits) • SAT, SAT Subject tests and/ or ACT
