Sophomore Parent Night Our Mission… The mission of the Madison High School guidance department is to encourage and prepare all students to perform at their highest academic level and become responsible members of society. The department focuses on making the guidance center an open, friendly, and welcoming place. We partner with students, parents/guardians and the school community to provide a support system that meets the varied needs of students and is consistent with district goals. Invitations to apply in the early fall. Scholarship is the first criteria a 3.75 GPA will warrant an invitation to join at the end of their sophomore year or the end of the junior year. They will apply for membership and the application will be reviewed by the selection committee, an application includes: Teacher recommendations 2 service recommendations A student letter to the committee addressing character, leadership and dedication to service Induction in November Honor Society Criteria
