Create engaging content Survey Tool • Anonymous answers • Multiple-entries • You don’t have to wait until end-of-term course evaluations • As a reflection tool (journal) • As follow-up analysis question after an activity. • No – marks associated. Gives learners space for more creativity. No right/wrong answer. • Track learners’ feedback • As part of a learning activity

Create engaging content Checklist Tool Keep students engaged List what they need to accomplish / deliverables / topics to cover required assignments / readings, or other items to complete for a specific module. Appeals to “completionist” learners. You can also hide (extra or follow-up) content by using Release Conditions.

Create online repositories of images / videos / articles / industryleader / source of inspiration / brainstorming & feedback. Clear instructions & posting etiquette​ (meaningful and constructive feedback).

Summary Throughout this workshop you learned how to identify the sections of a course and lesson.​ The importance of course alignment for learners, so they can demonstrate their skills at the end of the course.​ Consistency in a course helps learners engage better and have an easy navigation, avoiding frustrations when accessing content​. Engage students using Brightspace tools effectively, creatively,and without the need of third-party external tools.
