House Of Represenatives • A.Qualifications • I : Age (Up To 25 Years Old) • II:Residency (Must Live In The State Where They Are Elected ) • III: Citizenship (Must Be A Citizen Of The U.S. For Seven Years ) • B: Elections (Every Two Years ) • C: Responsibilities • Impose And Collect Taxes & Duties • Borrow Money • Regulate Commerce With Foreign Nations And Among The States • Coin Money • Establish Post Offices • Declare War • Raise And Support An Army And Navy

  3. SENATE • Qualifications : • - Age : Must Be At Least 30 Years Old • - Residency : Must Live In The State You Are Chosen To Represent • - Citizenship : Must Be A United States Citizen For At Least 9 Years

  4. SENATE • Elections : Held Every Six Years • Two Senators : From Each State • Responsibilities • -Choose Their Officers • _ Have The Sole Power To Try All Impeachments • -When The President Of The United States Is Tried , The Chief Justice Shall Preside

Article II :President / Executive • A : Qualifications • I : Age : (At Least 35 ) • II : Residency (Must Be A Natural Born Citizen ) • III : Citizenship (Must Live In The United States For At Least 14 Years ) • B : Powers Of The President : • Carry Out & Enforce Laws Made By Congress • Make Treaties With Foreign Nations • Appoint Certain Important Government Officials • Ask As Commander – In –Chief Of The Armed Forces • VETO Laws Passed By Congress

  6. Article III : Judicial / Courts . Supreme Court .Needed To Decide Disputes Between State Governments And Between Citizens Of Two Or More States . Also Needed For Disputes Between The National Government And A State Or Citizen .Appointed By The President For Life Or Until They Retire .Two Types Of Jurisdiction : Original Jurisdiction And Appellate Jurisdiction

  7. First Amendment Congress Shall Make No Law Against The Establishment Of Religion

Amendment Five • No Person Shall Be Forced To Answer For A Capital Or Otherwise Infamous Crime Unless On An Indictment of A Grand Jury • No Person Shall Be Tried For the Same Crime Twice • No Person Shall Be Denied Of Life , Liberty , Or Property Without Due Process Of Law • Property Cannot Be Taken Away From A Person Without Compensation .

  9. Amendment Fourteen • Defines Citizenship • No State Shall Make Laws That Deprives A Person Of Life , Liberty , Or Property , Without Due Process Of Law • Nor Shall They Deny Any Person Within Its Jurisdiction Equal Protection Of The Laws
