U.S. Senator • Age: 30 • Residency: live in the state you are running • Citizenship: nine years a citizen of U.S. • Elections: every 6 years • Responsibilities: Consenting to treaties as a precondition to their ratification • Consenting to appointments of Cabinet secretaries and federal judges.
