  7. On November 1st 1970,Edgar Snow, an American author was invited to the Tian An Men Square to present the ceremony of the National Day and Mao said to him that “I would like to talk to Nixon if he comes.”

  8. On April 4th 1971, Premier Zhou Enlai met the members of American Ping pong delegation, whose visit built the friendship of the two countries.
