  2. FAIR TRADE FORTNIGHT Fairtrade Fortnight runs from 23rd February until 8th March. The Fairtrade Committee are running a number of events to promote Fairtrade including an S1 Assembly, raffles, coffee mornings etc. We are also going to put a wee quiz question in everyday over the next 2 weeks to see how much you know about Fairtrade?   4. All Year Groups Ben Nevis Big Lottery trips Thanks to those pupils who have already sent in forms. The parental consent forms for the trips will be given out on Monday. There will also be a reserve list.

  6. Committees Fairtrade Committee Meeting When: Fridays Time: 12.45 pm Where: Mrs Summer’s Maths room. Are you interested in Fair Trade issues? Join us for our Fairtrade meetings. New members welcome! Find out more from Mrs Summers. Anti Bullying Committee The ABC will meet at 1pm in Miss Kennedy’s History room (every Friday). There will also be an Anti-Bullying drop it at the same time, should anyone want to come along to discuss/report any bullying issues.

  7. S5/6 Supported Study Supported Study is on tonight Please take advantage of this as it is there to help you improve your results. It is well known that those who attend Supported Study score better in the exams Childcare Apprenticeship Opportunity We have received an email from a company called QT who are looking to recruit young school leavers who are interested in a career in childcare. If you would like to apply come and see Miss McWaters for more information and appointment with the Careers Advisor and Employability officer.

  11. S1 S1 Fairtrade Assembly S1 will take part in a Fairtrade Assembly tomorrow (Friday) Period 2. You will be registered and brought to the hall by your Period 2 class teacher. If you could ask pupils to sit in the hall by tutor group. Bhangra Club Sorry girls but we have had to cancel Bhangra Club this week. Back to normal next week.
