Improveyour French in New Caledonia • A three-week training period to improve yourlevel in a French university • To prepareyourselfbefore to going to France • Minimum levelrequired: B1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) • Period: from November 17th to December 7th 2014 • Availabilities : 45 students maximum, divided into three groups of 15 people

Course overview 56 hours courses and visits • Creative writing workshop and grammar (12h) • Oral and written practice (16 h) • Phonetics, pronunciation and oral expressions (10 h) • Lectures sessions on themes related to New Caledonia (6 h) • Writing a portfolio (weekly newspaper edge) • Cultural activities – tours to museums, parks, cultural week-ends (12 h) • Sports and outdooractivities

  3. Assessment • At the end of the training, students will undertake assessment in all four courses • They receive a teaching report receives from the UNC, a transcript mentioning the number of ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) • They also have the opportunity to take the TCF test (Test de Connaissance du Français), official French certification valid 2 years (optional cost)

  4. Cultural activities – Sport and discoveries A program of activities is offered throughout the summer school : • Visits of the Tjibaou cultural center, museums, aquarium • Sports and outdoor activities • Cycling tour and forest trails hiking • Trips to the beach, wildlife park, lagoon etc. • French movie nights and culinary evenings

  5. Fees * Feesincludes : classes, on-campus accommodation, meals and various cultural and sports activities(does not include the plane ticket and the banktransferfees) **Exchange rate of 19/03/2014
