Do numbers mean anything in scriptures? • represents unity and is the quintessential number of monotheism, the worship of one God (Deut. 6:4) • division or double portion (Gen. 1:3-4) • three represents that which is solid, real, substantial, and something in its completeness(Divine perfection)-Isa. 6:3; Rev. 4:8) • four represents God’s creative works, especially works associated with the earth Gen. 2:10; 3:22-24 • the number of power and Divine grace (Dan. 2:37-44) • the number six represents both man and rebellion (Gen. 3:15) • Spiritual perfection and fullness or completion (Gen. 2:2)

The number of 12! • Perfection of government.  Twelve is the number of the Church, both the Old Covenant Church of Israel founded by twelve physical fathers (the twelve sons of Jacob-Israel) and the New Covenant Church founded by twelve spiritual fathers (the twelve Apostles) • The number twelve is found 187 times total in the Bible, 22 of which are in the book of Revelation. • The significance of the number 12 is that it represents divine authority and appointment, as well as governmental foundation and perfection, and shows completeness. 12 is also used as a signature of Israel. Truth is symbolized by 144, or 12 x 12.
