  4. sTSD (pp & pp) - Soft Diffraction Suppression relative to prediction from Regge factorization Standard Regge Factor of ~10 (~5) suppression observed at √s = 1800 (540) GeV KG, PLB 358, 379 (1995) DIFFRACTIVE AND EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION AT CDF IIK. GOULIANOS

  5. pp vs. g*p - Breakdown of QCD factorization Diffractive Structure Function same suppression as in soft diffraction H1 H1 2006 fits: more flat! CDF factor ~10 suppression Using preliminary pdf’s from momentum fraction of parton in Pomeron DIFFRACTIVE AND EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION AT CDF IIK. GOULIANOS

  6. Diffractive Structure Function:xBj and Q2 dependence ETjet ~ 100 GeV ! • Small Q2 dependence in region 100 < Q2 < 10,000 GeV2 • Pomeron evolves as the proton! DIFFRACTIVE AND EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION AT CDF IIK. GOULIANOS

Diffractive Structure Function:t- dependence Fit ds/dt to a double exponential: • Same slope over entire region of 0 < Q2 < 4,500 GeV2 across soft and hard diffraction! • No diffraction dips • No Q2 dependence in slope from inclusive to Q2~104 GeV2 DIFFRACTIVE AND EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION AT CDF IIK. GOULIANOS

  9. Vector meson production (Pierre Marage, HERA-LHC 2008) • left -suppression of 20-50 % at high W • right -suppression of low |t| events at high Q2smaller slope! DIFFRACTIVE AND EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION AT CDF IIK. GOULIANOS
