  2. WELCOME!!!!  • WELCOME TO 8TH GRADE!! • We are excited to have you back here at EastMiddle School as 8th Graders!!! • Remember, you are the leaders of the school.

Assignment books • Items that you will find in your assignment book: “15 and Out” form 1st 9 week schedule • Assignments books must be filled out and carried to all classes. • If you have to leave a class for any reason you must have your assignment book. • If your assignment book is lost, you must purchase a new book.

  6. 15 and out 15 and Out 1st 9 weeks

  7. 15 and out forms • This is the form that your teachers will use if there is a situation/infraction in the classroom or if you need to leave the room. • This form must be kept in your assignment book. • At the end of the 9 week, any student that has 15 or less marks will be invited to the 9 week incentive. • If a student gets a total of 15 or more marks, he/she will be called into Team to discuss how the issue can be corrected and possible disciplinary actions.

  8. Items that must be returned to TA teacher !! • Health Card • Parent Letter • Fee Envelope • Box of Kleenex • Physical Form (w/parent signature) if student is involved in 8th grade sports. • Healthy Kids Contract

  9. Locker cards • Please write your locker number and combination somewhere in your assignment book. • Keep your locker information secure! • TA teachers must return your locker card to the main office. • Keep your lockers locked at all times!!

  12. Mentoring time/TA7:45-8:21 Purpose of mentoring time: • Study hall • Meet with other teachers to make up work • Check grades on Pinnacle and look for missing work. • Second Step (Anti-bullying curriculum) • ITBS Mini Lessons (Reading, Math, Science)

  13. Behavior ExpectationsPowerPoint • Hallway Behaviors (PowerPoint) • Lunch room Behavior • Assembly Behaviors

  14. Raiders Together Shirt Sizes • Please put your name and shirt size on the form being passed around the room • T-shirts will be handed out tomorrow morning during Mentoring. • These shirts can be worn to the East/Heelan football game tomorrow night where you may enter free with a paid adult. • East Middle “Raiders Together” night is Friday, September 30th.
