  4. What it does • More than one input vertex • 1 in, 1 out rule no longer applies. Many out • Stream Out. Can write data to a separate buffer and then process that buffer recursively • Can drive scene rendering without CPU interference.

  5. Video Cards • Nvidia supports DX10 and OpenGL (no official GLSL release yet) • ATI supports DX10 • Tesselation? • http://ati.amd.com/products/Radeonhd/demos/Tessellation.html

  6. Performance • Should be really fast • Word on the street is “slow but we don’t know why” • Drivers? • Hardware?
