  5. Wiki Exploration 5 • Create a Personal Page • After you have been accepted as a member of the Wiki group, your first task will be to create a personal page. This will be your individual page for you to post content throughout the course. • Directions for creating your personal page: • Click on link “New Page” on top left menu bar • Title your new page as your first initial and last name, and click “create.” • Your first assignment on this page is to post an introduction, which should include, minimally, a picture and a brief bio. You may also include links to your personal website, blog, or other information you wish to share. Once you have finished, be sure to click “save” at the bottom of the screen. • After you have created your new page, click on the “class members” link on the left side of the wiki page. • Click “Edit” on the top right corner and type your name directly on to the page. Highlight your name. While you are in edit mode, there should be a menu bar labeled “Editor” at the top of the page. Click on the icon that looks like a chain link. A Menu box will open up for you to link your name to the personal page you just created. In the “Page Name” box, type your first initial and last name—the title of the personal page you created. Then, click “Add Link.” Your name should now appear blue and underlined as a hyperlink on the Class Members page. Be sure to click “Save” when you are finished.
