  3. Club Success Plan Complete and submit club success plan before October 31 Submit to the area governor Clubs receive a Wall Chart Select the best Success Plan in the area – awarded A Wall Chart Kit AG reviews the Success Plan on each visit

  4. Planning Includes the following Council meetings Early club visits and immediate reporting Well-Planned Area & Division Contests training all club officers 2nd round COT TLI and Bootcamp

  6. Effective Area Council Meetings Plan in advance Notification 3-4 weeks in advance Date, Time & Location Agenda (distribute prior to meeting) Review your manuals and the timeline, pp 20-23

  7. Club Visits - Prepare for your Visit

  13. Important Steps Fill in all of the blanks Save your work as you go Report meaningful information Use your visit and the report as a planning tool to help your clubs

  14. Contests set date and promote participants - contestants and helpers know the rules Eligibility at all levels

  15. Eligibility member serving as Chief Judge, Voting Judge or Tie/Breaking Judge beyond club level District Officers Presenters of education sessions at the event where the contest is held A candidate declared ineligible at any level – disqualified from competing

  16. Judges: Area, Division or District Level Chief, Judging or Tie-breaking Member in good standing of a club in good standing for a minimum of 6 months Have completed 6 speeches in the CC manual

  17. Area Contests • Equal # of judges from each club in the Area Or • Minimum of 5 voting judges • Chief Judge, tie-breaking judge, contest chair • Three ballot counters & 2 timers

  18. Division Contests • Equal # of voting judges from each Area in the Division, or • A minimum of 7 voting judges • Chief judge, tie breaking judge, voting judge (can’t be a member in a club of any contestant in the contest) • Chairman, 3 ballot counters & 2 timers

  20. Club Officer Training 2nd round starts December 1 Train in December Train 100% February 28 – Last training date for DCP credit NO extensions, NO exceptions
