Jambalaya Base

Experience a true Cajun recipe with all the seasoning and flavor you expect in quality Jambalaya with added smoked sausage. This boil-in-the-bag base is simple to cook and perfect as a side dish or plate lunch. For a heartier meal, include pre-cooked chicken. Cooking Instructions: Bring thawed 5lb bag to a boil for 15 minutes or frozen for 30 minutes. Pair with approximately 10 cups of cooked white rice. Mixing Instructions: Combine cooked Jambalaya Base with rice in a pot, adding chicken for extra meatiness. Serve hot - do not serve base without rice. Each package contains 4 x 5LB bags, totaling 20 LBS. Ideal for serving in 8oz and 16oz squat containers.

  1. Jambalaya Base A true Cajun recipe with all the seasoning and flavor you would expect to taste in a quality Jambalaya. Smoked Sausage is already added. This boil in the bag Jambalaya Base is simple to cook and makes a great side dish or plate lunch. For a more meaty Jambalaya ,add pre-cooked chicken. Cooking Instructions: Boil 5lb bag thawed for 15 minutes – frozen 30 min. (Promptly Remove Bag once Jambalaya is Thoroughly Warm, Do Not Let Jambalaya Soak) White Rice: Approximately 10 cups of Cooked Rice is Needed per 5Lb Bag of Jambalaya Mixing Instructions: After Jambalaya Base is cooked to temperature. In a large pot, pour Jambalaya Base over 10 cups of cooked white rice. As an option, add pre-cooked Chicken until desired consistency. Continue to heat Jambalaya Base and Chicken until hot. (Do not Serve Jambalaya Base without Rice) Package contains 4 – 5LB Bags Keep Frozen Net Weight 20 LBS Recommended Packaging: Serve in 8oz and 16oz Squat
