Background (for H&HS) • HPH Constitution • WHO-HPH Standards and indicators • WHO: Strengthening public health services and capacity + Health 2020 • 10 essential PH operations UN: Prevention and control of NCD • Cardiac and resp diseases, diabetes, cancer • Tobacco, alcohol, overweight, dysnutrition, inactivity or low physical activity

Global HPH Strategy 2013-15 Four areas of priority • Implementing WHO-HPH Standards & Indicators for HP in H&HS • Health Protection, Health Promotion incl patient safety, Rehabilitation incl NCD • Training & Education to assure competences for HP in H&HS • Community & Advocacy for HP in H&HS, incl HPH growth • Advancement of ClinHP Research to inform policy and practice

Global HPH Strategy 2013-15 Four areas of priority • Implementing WHO-HPH Standards & Indicators for HP in H&HS (EPHO 1-6) • Health Protection, Health Promotion incl patient safety, Rehabilitation incl NCD • Training & Education to assure competences for HP in H&HS (7-8) • Community & Advocacy for HP in H&HS, incl HPH growth (9) • Advancement of ClinHP Research to inform policy and practice (10)

WHO-HPH St & Indicators for HP in H&HS • Implementation in Hosp-members • Toolbox + e-learning online • Support their members in implementing standards (1 per year) • Development for HS members (non-hosp) • Evaluation of existing model in HS-members • Draft revised model and validation in pilot-tests • Participation in pilot-tests • Consider a TF / WG on this

Teaching & training to assure capacity + comp • Internationally HPH Schools • Virtual HPH Hosp&HS Tour • E-learning on T&T: “hands on” • International ClinHP Master • Participate internationally • Establish Local T+T (hands-on, e-learning) • Support and participate internationally • Support and participate locally

Advancement of ClinHP research to inform policy + practice • Inform policy + practice on research at int level • Contribution to the Clin-HP journal • Establish a new multicentre research project • New scientific library and scientific database • Participate in a research project • Disseminate research • Locally to inform policy and practice • Presentation at Int HPH Conference • Publication in Clin-HP or other scientific journals • Participate in and disseminate research

Communication + Advocacy • Advocate internationally of HPH Network • Int HPH Network participation at policy level • Updated toolbox to support Com+Adv • Member growth: 100 new “net” members • Advocate nat/reg of HPH Network • Nat/Reg Network participation at policy level • Translation of Global HPH strategy, importantdocuments and tools • Informinternationally of Nat/reg HPH work • Informownmembers of the int and nat/reg HPH work • Recruit 2 new members (incl Aff-members) • Advocate int/nat/reg of the HPH work • Inform int/nat/reg of the HPH TF work • Recruit 1 new member (inclAff-members)
