  3. Scientist • - As a scientist Benjamin Franklin’s study was focused on electricity • - Using the information from one of his famous experiments he invented the lighting rod

  4. Inventor • - Invented bifocal eyeglasses • - Invented the Franklin stove

  5. Statesman • - Played a major role in drafting the constitution • - Negotiated a treaty with Paris • - Spent years in France
