  3. Company History • 1986-1992 Founders at Elliott Flow Computers • Dynamic Flow Computers Established in 1993 • 1993-1997 Focused on Liquid Markets • 2000 - Micro MV • 2001 - E Chart • 2003 - E Chart Plus • 2005 - E Chart Lite • 1998-Present Focus on both Liquid & Gas markets

  4. Mission Statement “The objective of DFC is to provide you with the latest in state of the art Electronic Flow Measurement with a total commitment to quality in products and service”.

  5. Latest Technology Over the years we have strived to bring the latest advances in technology to the flow computer industry Some examples: • Wireless Bluetooth™ Communications. • Memory Stick Walk-by SCADA. • Fieldbus Foundation Protocol. • Graphical Trend Screens. • First field-mounted liquid flow computer.

  6. Flow Measurement Standards • API 14.3 OR AGA 3 – (Differential orifice, Cone, etc) • AGA 7 (Frequency such as Turbine, PD, and Others) • AGA 8 Compressibility (Gross & Detail Methods) • API 21.1 & 21.2 EFM Standards • API Liquid Algorithms • Other Specific Applications Available

  7. MicroMV • Gas or Liquid • Class 1, Division 1 • Up to Four Meter Runs • Touch Screen with A Level Security • Built in UPS for days of operation • Built in Rosemount 205 for Pressure, Temperature, & DP • Temperature rating -40 to +185 °F • PID & Boolean Logic • Math Functions • Low Power (Only 0.5 Watts) • 35 to 55 days of data Storage • 4 Line by 20 Character Display • User configurable scrolling display with ‘display freeze’ option • Infra red sensors for easy configuration & calibration

  8. Gas and Liquid Class 1, Division 1 2 Digital Outputs 1 Digital/Frequency Input 2 Analog Inputs One RS232 and One RS 232/485 16 Bit Analog Output Graphical Display Built in Rosemount Multivariable 205 Temperature rating -40 to +185 °F PID, Boolean Logic, & Math function Meets API 21.1 for Custody Transfer 64 days of Data Storage Low Power Solar Options Battery & Enclosure temperature built-in DISPLAY 8 Lines of Text Graphical Trend Display User Configurable Display Min / Max Trending

  9. Rosemount Multivariable • The Most Accurate and Reliable on the Market. • Exclusive Dynamic-Rosemount agreement. • Accuracy is +0.1% standard or +0.075% optional. • Measures static, differential pressure, and temperature • Rosemount co-planar flange for easy installation. • High stability design means less calibration. • SPECIFICATIONS • Pressure Ranges: 0-800 PSIG or 0-3626 PSIG • DP Ranges: 0-25, 0-250 or 0-1000 Bi-Directional Inches of Water • RTD plugs in to the 205 module directly with a Temp range up to 1200 F • Update time of 108 mS

  10. Typical Field Installation

  11. Typical Field Installation

  12. HAZARDOUS AREA GENERAL PURPOSE AREA Multiple Run Installation Additional MV/EChart w/ Transmitters and with or without Display FLOW COMPUTERS CAN BE DIRECT MOUNTED OR MOUNTED ON A 2“ POLE

  13. Built-in Communications Our standard communication ports let us integrate with all the current communication media. And now we also support the latest Bluetooth Wireless protocol

  14. Inputs / Outputs • On Site ECHART to Micro MV in 10 Minutes • 1 Meter run up to four meter runs using MV & EChart or 3095 Multi-variable Transmitters • Well Optimization • PID & Logic Control

  15. MicroMV Field IO & Expansion • Nine 24-Bit analog channels per MV with 3 additional MV slave units for I/O expansion (21 analog) • 3 frequency channels with three additional MV slave units for I/O expansion (12 channels) • 4 analog outputs with 3 additional MV slave units expansion (7 analog out) • 3 digital inputs or outputs with three additional MV expansion (9 digitals) • 3 Communication ports • Up to 4 meter runs in one MV device. Mixture of liquid and gas algorithms corrected to 15°C or 60°F (metric or US units) • Slave I/O module when only 1 meter run

  16. Data Management • Windows & DOS Configuration Software • On site Configuration • Remote Configuration • Modbus Master & Slave (ASCII or RTU) • Data Storage & Retrieval • Data Displayed & Collected via PDA, Laptop, Radio, Cell, or Satellite • Low Power

  17. Historical Data • Each history point is configured to archive the current value, average value, totalized value, and accumulated value. • 35-64 days of data storage that includes calculated values including Min./Max. values, minute, hourly, hourly, and daily values • One Year of Monthly Data is also Stored

  18. Event & Alarm Logs • The Event Log records the last 200 parameter changes • The Alarm Log records the last 200 occurrences of alarms • The logs can be viewed, saved, printed, or transmitted • Alarms & Logs for the four Meter Runs are stored when using the four meter run option

  19. Report by Exception • Report By Exception • Allows Cry out • Allows the Flow Computer to report any Alarms to the Host system

  20. Manufacturing Facility • All Final Assembly & Testing is done in Houston, Texas. • CPU Boards are made in Canada, Housing by Adalet, and Transmitters by Rosemount USA. • Units are tested in an environmental chamber for 72 hours and bench tested for a 2 week period prior to shipping.

  21. Sales & Support • Dynamic worldwide offices & agents/representatives are key sales support • Dynamic Flow Computers are standard units, available in stock at all times, and ready for shipment within hours, days, or weeks depending on quantities and customer request. • Dynamic has a training program that can be given at our facility or on site.

  22. Service • Dynamic Flow Computers are easy to use and easy to maintain. • In Canada Service support is performed by Tundra Controls, SyntechEnerflex, Bentek Systems, Pro-Logic Controls, or by Dynamic technicians upon request. • Service requests are dealt with immediately by Tundra and Syntech through their various 24 / 7 support centers. • Dynamic Mfg./Service facility in Calgary, AB

  23. Future Products Super-MV • 10 Times more processing power. • Built-in Ethernet and USB: Even more communications alternatives. • The REAL Smart I/O: Interchangeable I/O Modules provide a wide range of Input / Output configuration options. • Advanced Diagnostics including our renowned Turbine Diagnostic. • Redundancy and Smart I/O capabilities: Multiple SuperMVs in a single network can act as separate units, extended smart I/O, or 100% redundant systems. • Modbus™ & Foundation Fieldbus™ compatible communication • Multiple API, AGA, and ISO equations are programmed into each unit. • Dynacom™ software with user friendly interface for PCs and Handhelds Once again Dynamic redefines the next-generation flow computer
