  2. SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY and READINESS CHART Is a rubric that helps determine the level of progress a campus or district has made towards meeting the optimal expectations of the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology. What is STaR Chart?

  3. Teaching and Learning • Educator preparation and development • Leadership, administration and instructional support • Infrastructure for technology Each Key Area is divided into Focus Area. Each of this division is scored on a four-tier level of progress scale. • The simplest (Early Tech) • The highest perfoming (Target Tech) STaR Chart has 4 Key Areas

The SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY and READINESS CHART data can be used as an evaluation in different ways. • To assess a school's or district's current profile • To indicate areas in need of improvement • To help in establishing goals • To furnish comparable data in order to monitor progress How is the STaR Chart used?
