Population Statistics • The population of Kyrgyzstan currently is established as 5,587,443. • The city with the largest number of people is Bishkek with 631, 000. • The population growth rate in the year 2000 was around 1.43% and went down to 1.25% in the year 2004. However the growth rate has managed to go back up to its original growth rate in year 2012 with 1.43%. • Crude birth rate (2009) – 22% • Crude death rate (2009) – 7%
