  2. Tasks • MTIs matrix - check the inputs • Find answers on: • Are MTIs used as a guidelines for courses’ development • How are they addressed in the courses • Can we use MTIs as a criteria for course evaluation: How? In what extend? • Prepare findings and recommendations for the Conference.

  3. - MTIs -Ref. Papers, (STANAGs, MC, MCM, AJP,…) NATO National Training Objectives CUSTEMERS, (PfP Countries) PfP related requirements PfP training National training PTC - MTIs PTC

  4. OUTCOME • .We have reviewed the curriculums of courses conducted in the PfP TC´s and identified which MTIs are addressed. • .We will continue to revise, develop and improve the MTI-matrix annually in order to identify shortfalls. • .MTIs, are not as usable for PTCs as wished in terms of courses’ evaluation and description. Therefor they need more measurable and more precise descriptions. • .PTCs need detailed information in order to evaluate and describe courses and activities against MTIs preferably through the national chain of command. • Our recommendation is to continue the exchange of information regarding these issues in order to be better prepared for annual MTI updating process. • Information exchange between the PTCs may also help to overcome identified shortfalls in the PfP education and training area.

  5. Recommendations • Our recommendation is to continue the exchange of information regarding these issues in order to be better prepared for annual MTI updating process. • PTC Commandants Conference strongly recommends both SCs to extend the utility of the new MTIs by their partitioning.
