  17. BACKGROUND Owl Labs was founded in 2014 by robotics experts Max Makeev and Mark Schnittman. In 2017, it launched its highly regarded 360° video conferencing device, Meeting Owl. It is the world's first smart video conference camera. VentureBeat noted that unlike others, Meeting Owl has "...a single 360-degree camera that can recognize and highlight the person speaking.” The company’s headquarters is in Somerville, Massachusetts. Owl Labs THE WORLD'S FIRST SMART VIDEO CONFERENCE CAMERA; OVER $2.5M IN REVENUE 2018 TO DATE THE PROBLEM In March 2017, right before the launch of Meeting Owl, the Owl Labs team knew they needed robust marketing to help introduce their product to the marketplace. They came to YDNACMO for a full marketing strategy and implementation. THE SOLUTION We created a strong FB Ads campaign as well as a Google Ads campaign, conversion tracking, and Shopify optimization. We have a High price point (AOV $800) Internet of things product, which is an important niche. We built google shopping campaigns, Youtube campaigns, rebranding. LoanSnap A SMART LOAN APP AND DIRECT LENDER CHANGING THE MORTGAGE; BACKED 6.5M BY RICHARD BRANSON'S VIRGIN GROUP BACKGROUND LoanSnap has introduced an artificial intelligence-backed “smart” loan technology that helps mortgage borrowers. The company was founded by CEO Karl Jacob and CTO Allan Carroll, in 2017 and is making loans in California, with plans to expand to 20 additional states by the end of the year, Richard Branson, the billionaire founder of Virgin Group, and former National Football League quarterback Joe Montana are early investors. Their mission is to make getting a mortgage faster and easier while presenting data gathered in the application process to customers to help them make financial decisions. THE PROBLEM A key challenge to LoanSnap was obviously the lack of brand recognition. Right after their funding launch, they came to us for marketing strategy and implementation. This included - branding, social media and a robust email strategies and their major targeted audience - millennials. THE SOLUTION We created an email marketing and conversion strategy plan to overcome lack of brand recognition, develop extensive press coverage through micro-influencer outreach; leverage Richard Branson and existing media coverage and partner with millennial-based/rising personal finance apps such as microloan service Dave and Mint-alternative Personal Capital with the intention being to rise on the app store charts through mobile SEO. We combined messaging, extensive A/B testing on the testing platform Iterable, along with advanced segmentation using demographic data appended. THE SUCCESSFUL RESULTS We initiated an Email campaign to hundreds of thousands in California beta - open rate = 50% - action rate -> credit card entry = up 3x (5-15) Our strategy has doubled the conversion rate from abandoned carts.

We Launched A Mobile App to 50,000 Users and $30k in Crowdfunding in Two Months Hallow THE FIRST CHRISTIAN MEDITATION APP; "HEADSPACE" FOR PRAYER BACKGROUND HallowApp is a digital platform that aims to energize faith lives and enable prayer with meditations and guided prayers. Hallow App offers several different methods of prayer in easy to follow audio guided sessions. The hope is that Hallow can be a resource for those of all faith backgrounds regardless of denomination. Founded by Alex Jones and Erich Kerekes, Hallow is based in San Francisco. Hallow App is in beta form and is a seed stage startup. THE PROBLEM Like all startups, Hallow App had to confront the challenge of proving the existence of a marketplace that does not currently exist, and finding people to provide money before the product was even launched on the app store. THE SOLUTION We created a Facebook campaign with ads, google ads, Hubspot, SEO, and an email marketing campaign. We have created 50 backlink opportunities and are building a strong social media Influencer campaign. THE SUCCESSFUL RESULTS We built, and was the copywriter for, their crowdfunding campaign, and created lead-gen ads to generate 50k. We have raised 1/2 the money so far. We built an attractive and full functioning website.
