There are 2 sides to every story…

  • Around the room are several images. You must sort the statements on your desk and stick them on to each picture in the correct place – for or against?
  • Only 2 of you are allowed out of your seat at any given time!
  • Can you spot the red herrings?!

Connectives Card Game

One person in the group takes a card from the ‘picture’ pile (white cards),

and a card from the ‘connectives’ pile (green cards). Using this picture and this

connective the player must form an ‘explaining’ sentence. For example:

After the first player has completed their sentence, each of the

remaining players must choose a different‘connectives’ card and make

a sentence using the same picture. Then change picture and start again!
