Status & Next Steps • Adopted as Softwire WG draft in May/2010 • 3 detailed document reviews (thanks to Olaf Bonness, Yiu Lee, Tina Tsou) • Changes from -02 to -03 • Detailed IP-in-IP encap (IPv4-in-IPv4, IPv4-in-IPv6, IPv4-in-IPv6 w/ Flow-Label) • Moved Section 7 (“GI-DS-lite Deployment”) to Annex A • Cleanup of several editorial nits and minor wording changes • Discussion (current discussion on list) • MPLS encapsulation currently only for MPLS VPNs;Complement with “plain” IP-over-MPLS? • Next steps • Close on MPLS encapsulation discussion and evolve to WGLC?
