Lessons: Performance-based Advocacy (PBA) • Should be an integral part of the early stage planning process, incorporating regular monitoring reviews and periodic impact evaluation • Requires a cultural shift among advocates • Requires intensive capacity building and robust peer mentoring systems • Must be fit-for-purpose, with sustained financial support by funding partners
