Investing in water efficiency • Regional water efficiency strategy has set a 15% reduction target Statewide (same as metro target) • Jointly funded by the Federal government • Includes water efficiency projects in West and East Pilbara, Great Southern, Kimberley and Kalgoorlie • Projects focus on: • Leak detection and repair • Community based social marketing • Water recycling • Retrofits • Showerhead exchange • Cost competitive with source augmentation
