  2. Binary Acid (HX(aq))--II Name according to the following format: First word Second word hydro stem of X ic acid Indicates (aq) or water solution -ic suffix Derived from “H” first HCl(aq) hydro chlor ic acid

  3. Binary Acid (HX(aq))--III Name according to the following format: First word Second word hydro stem of X ic acid Indicates (aq) or water solution -ic suffix Derived from “H” first H2Se(aq) hydro selen ic acid
