  1. Cubism Cubism is a 20th century type of art. This particular style of art only uses geometric shapes and can be abstract.

  2. Georges Braque • Georges Braque • Born: 13 May 1882 Argenteuil, Val-d'Oise • Died: 31 August 1963 (aged 81) Paris • Nationality: French • Professions: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Printmaking • Style: Cubism, Fauvism • Influenced by: Paul Cézanne, André Derain, Raoul Dufy, Othon Friesz, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso

  3. I like this type of art especially this painting of violins and a candlestick. This painting attracted my attention because of the different shapes and how the objects are hidden. This artwork is like a puzzle and I have to focus on seeing all its parts. I personally like the shape of the violin instrument. It attracted my attention. Georges Braque Violin and Candlestick, Paris, spring 1910, at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

  4. Cubism & Still Life Cubism form of art is different than the still life form because its mostly abstract made from different geometric shapes. The artist in still life focuses on a realistic object and captures it exactly as it is in real life.
