  1. COVID 19: Top 10 General Guidelines and Hygiene Tips

  2. Dr Hend Al Awadhi, Head of Health Promotion and Education Section in the DHA’s (Dubai Health Authority) Public Health Protection Department have these guidelines and tips for you to prevent COVID 19 from spreading.

  3. Avoid greeting anyone who is sick and refrain from Hand Touching or Hugs

  4. People with a flu should cover your mouth when you Sneeze or Cough

  5. Correct disposal of Tissues and Hand-Hygiene is very important.

  6. If you are sick, stay indoors, Stay at Home and get the Rest you need.

  7. If you fall under the category that requires COVID-19 testing, take all necessary steps to prevent the spread of infection and go to the nearest Healthcare Centre.

  8. Facemasks are recommended for people who are sick with a flu to prevent infecting others. It is not a precaution to protect yourself against the flu or COVID-19.

  9. Maintain Hand-Hygiene, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and avoid close contact with anyone showing the symptoms.

  10. "If you don't have access to Soap and Water use a Hand Sanitizer.

  11. If you greet someone with respiratory symptoms do not Touch their Hands or Hug the Person."

  12. Maintain regular and thoroughHand-Washing and Good Respiratory Hygiene.
