  3. The Seduced Soul The Sin of Idolatry Exodus 20:3-4 ‘You shall have no other gods beforeme. ‘You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.’

The Seduced Soul “So do not corrupt yourselves by making an idol in any form ... don’t be seduced into worshiping them...” Deuteronomy 4:16-19 The Sin of Idolatry Deuteronomy 4:16-19 “So do not corrupt yourselves by making an idol in any form—whether of a man or a woman, an animal on the ground, a bird in the sky, a small animal that scurries along the ground, or a fish in the deepest sea. And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don’t be seduced into worshiping them...” (NLT) • Hebrew ‘seduced’ [ nâdach ] • vs.19 paints the word picture • to ‘mislead’ • to ‘quietly draw away’

Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” Seduced into worshiping a counterfeit

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God...” NKJV
