  3. The Seduced Soul The Sin of Idolatry Exodus 20:3-4 ‘You shall have no other gods beforeme. ‘You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.’

And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don’t be seduced into worshiping them...” (NLT) • Hebrew ‘seduced’ [ nâdach ] • vs.19 paints the word picture • to ‘mislead’ • to ‘quietly draw away’

Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” Seduced into worshiping a counterfeit

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God...” NKJV
