I am the new Mayor of the Coyote Springs community. My goal is to assist in improving quality of life for residents by providing timely information, referring common issues and concerns to the appropriate agency, and by helping to foster a sense of community among residents.   2. Coyote Springs NewsletterJune 2011 OASIS POOL Is now open! • The Oasis Pool is an indoor/outdoor pool that provides recreational and lap swimming. There is no charge for admission into the pool. It includes a standard 25 meter pool, locker rooms, low diving board, and a slide. Aquatic Programs • Swim lessons • Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) Course • Water Safety • Instructor Course (WSI) • Junior Lifeguard Program • Spring Board Diving • Lifeguarding Certification Pool Hours – Summer (April – September) • Mon-Fri 0500-0930, then 1100-2000 • Saturday and Sunday 1100-1900 • Holiday 1100-1900 • SANDY BASIN POOL: The pool will be open for the summer starting June 11. The hours will be: • FRI & SAT: 10am- 8pm • MON: 12pm- 7pm • TUES/WED/THUR & SUN: 10am- 7pm • THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS AT THE POOL; CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES BY AN ADULT! Neighborhood Watch Program • Fort Irwin and NTC will be starting a post-wide Neighborhood Watch program this month. If you are interested in being part of this, please contact me. This program will be made up of residents and MP’s as well as our sponsoring unit.

Ad-mission $7.75 Adults, $3.25 Children 6-12, 5 and un-der FREE. Must register by June 22nd. Transportation Cost: $21.00 Adults, $16.00 Children (0-10). Trip leaves Bldg. 976 at 0700 with pick-ups in Barstow and Victorville. • July 30th—Raging Waters—Discount Tickets available at LTS. Transportation Cost $20.00 Adults, $15.00 Chil-dren 0-10. Irwin bus leaves Ontario at 2100 (9 p.m.) • July 16th from Las Vegas to Ft. Irwin bus leaves Las Vegas at 2100 (9 p.m.) • The transportation cost is $25.00 per person per di-rection and $100.00 for a family of 5+.
