  6. The Early Streets (4th and 5th) • How equity develops from 3rd to 5th street: • 1. Defining two fundamental hand types: “static” and “dynamic” • The strength of static hands (pairs and trips) is not (generally) dependent on what cards they catch. • The strength of dynamic hands (low draws, flush draws, straight draws, particularly combo draws) is highly dependent on what cards they catch. • 2. In matchups between these hands, the cards caught by the dynamic hand largely determines the course of the hand.

  7. The Later Streets (6th and 7th) • Know whether you have: • A hand with strong scoop potential • A strong one-way hand with some equity the other way • A strong one-way hand with no equity the other way • A hand that is marginal both ways

  8. The Later Streets (6th and 7th), continued • What to do once you know: • Pushing vs. Pulling • The Promo Raise • Evaluating a possible freeroll • Jamming in multi-way pots
