  5. Baptism • One time or continual process • Miqveh- Mi and qveh • Mi- from • Qveh (kavvah)- “wait” • Is 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

  6. Numbers 31:23-24 • 23 everything that can endure fire, you shall put through the fire, and it shall be clean; and it shall be purified with the water of purification. But all that cannot endure fire you shall put through water. 24 And you shall wash your clothes on the seventh day and be clean, and afterward you may come into the camp.”

Refining Process • Crushed stone to smaller stone to powder • Hot water used to wash it • What's left: Dirt, lead, impure metals with silver • Melted with temperatures exceedingly high • Poured over ash • repeated • When refined it is the most conductive and reflective metal • Bars are 93-97% pure after one pass through a crude refinery
