ROLE OF THE UNSC Initial steps Other roles DECDG Director Communication with UNSC UNSD Director UNSC ICP Global Manager • Constitute the ICP Executive Board • Ensure adequate representation of countries & regional organizations • Form the Board • Review and act upon issues raised by the EB • Provide guidance to EB on outreach, advocacy, and coordination • Form a group of Friends of Chair to guide or to evaluate the ICP process

ROLE OF DECDG (World Bank) World Bank DECDG Director • Host the ICP Global Office; • ICP Global Trust Fund established at WB • WB administrative, fiduciary rules & regulations • Overall supervision • Accountable to the World Bank for the program • Ensures confidentiality of data as per WB rules & procedures • Responsible for archiving • Implement data access policy • Member of the ICP Executive Board.

ROLE OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD EB Membership EB Necessary contacts for strategic Issues Address Strategic Issues Chair ICP Global Manager • Accountable to the UNSC for the success of the ICP • Representatives of their organizations • Include: Eurostat, OECD, IMF, the WB, & UNSD • Each regional coordinating agency • Representatives of countries • Serve for duration of the round.

  7. ROLE OF GLOBAL OFFICE & GLOBAL MANAGER G.M. G.O. • Seek to establish synergy with other initiatives • Directly liaise with the ICP Board Chair • Report to the Director of DECDG • Seek other expertise • Act within the directives provided by the Executive Board • Implementation of the dissemination policy • Overall leadership and coordination • Secretariat functions for the Executive Board • Carry out the day-to-day work • Financed from the ICP Global Trust Fund

  8. Role of the TAG • Advise the GO on theory, concepts & methods • Undertake research activities • Explore better approaches Main functions TAG actions • Discussions among all TAG members • Ad hoc committee or commission in-depth review of issues • Recommend research proposal
