Welcome to CACHECACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education (Early Years Educator) (VRQ) By the end of this course you will: • Gain the knowledge and experience which allows you to work with children from birth to 5 years.  • Be able to access higher education or enter the workforce as an Early Years Educator. • Have worked in several different placements. • Have learnt how to effectively work as part of a team.

CACHE Department contact details • Miss Tynan • ktynan@toothillschool.co.uk • 01949 875550 • Lead teacher • Miss Leeson and Miss Etheridge are also teachers of CACHE • Course requirements • 5 GCSE’s A-C, including English, Maths & Science. • 2015/16 Department Performance • 100% A*-D at the end of Year 13 • UCAS Points • Max of 420 (for an A*). • C = 240 points (equivalent of 3 Cs at A-level) • B = 300 points (equivalent of 3 Bs at A-level) • A = 360 points (equivalent of 3 As at A-level) • 2014/15 Department Performance • 100% A*-D at the end of Year 13

Fantastic way to gain experience working with children CACHE is the leading specialist Awarding Organisation for the Care and Education Sector. 100% A*- C in 2014 75% A*- C in 2015 (100% A*-D) Excellent pathway to a variety of careers, such as: working as a Early years practitioner in a nursery or as a primary school teacher. This year 3 students went to University to study primary education. The remaining students have gone into employment.
