Climate The weather in the Central Valley is very important to the yokut tribe for their crops. In the summer time for the yokut tribe there were long and hot. In the winter the yokut tribe had many wet seasions.
Plants As Natural Resources The Yokut tribe used wood and oak for their homes. In their envirement the Yokut tribe had many grassy fields. They clollectednuts,berries,seeds,and oaks.
Animals as Natural Resources The youkut tribe were exlant hunters They used nets,spears,and baskets to hunt there food They hunted geese,ducks,fish for food out of the water
Tribal Beliefs & Activities The yokut tribe had healers for wounded people and soldiers, called shamens if did bad they were exacuted by chief. Every spring they would take specail baths for strength,they also would celerate when done
Interesting Facts There were two types of houses One house could fit ten familys In the house there was a fire place in the middle of the house The houses had wooden frames and tule mats When the houses were built they were built by marshes & sloughs
