  7. Schedule • There is always something you need to do BEFORE coming to class! Read text and prepare to answer the discussion questions. • Quizzes are given without prior notice and often at the beginning of class. • Assignments should be submitted by e-mail before the beginning of each class session. • NOTE that in the first 2 ½ months we are going to cover most of the chapters in the book. Here’s a little tip In order to learn and do well in this course, you will need to prepare for each class by studying the assigned material, attending each class session, and participating in class discussions. Students who do not read in advance will not do well on reading quizzes. Students who do not attend class will not be able to receive credit for in-class participation, “What I Learned” cards, quizzes, nor for group presentation evaluations. IT IS IMPARITIVE THAT YOU READ IN ADVANCE, ATTEND CLASS AND PARTICIPATE. Over 50% of your grade is based upon these three factors. Business Ethics BMGT 2150

  10. Course Policies COURSE POLICIES LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED: Written assignments and evaluations are due at the beginning of the class period. A late assignment less than one week old may be accepted, with instructor’s approval, if an extra credit assignment is attached (no extra credit points will be awarded). CLASS ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED: Those missing more than two unexcused class periods may be dropped from the class. STUDY GROUPS ARE ENCOURAGED: Students are encouraged to work in small groups in preparing for quizzes, exams and completing assignments. INDIVIDUAL HELP: If you need help please feel free to visit me in my office at the Snow College Small Business Development Center in the North section of the High Tech Building, office 155 (enter through 154). General office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. You may call me at this office at 283-7372.
