  2. Mrs. Pinac’s Childhood • Raised in California, Washington, Ohio, Texas, New Mexico, Florida, and Sweet Home Louisiana. (National Park Service) • I decided to become a teacher in 1st grade after experiencing an outstanding educator, Mrs. Bellagh. • Raised in the Lutheran Church and attended a Christian University.

Elementary Education Experience • Graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2006 with degree in Elementary Education. • Teaching Experience: • 1st Grade (2007) –Hallandale, FL • 1st-5th (2007)- Riverside Elementary • Special Education(Behavioral Disorders) • 4th-6th (2008-2009)-Carolyn Park Middle • Special Education (Learning Disabilities) • -4th Grade (2010-2011)– FBCS!!  • Inclusive (All subjects) • -3rd-4th (2011-2012) • Reading, Language, Spelling, Bible

  6. Family Most breaks Kasey, Molly, and I visit Mom& Dad in Vicksburg, MS, or Kelly & Tommy in Pensacola, FL, & Dickson, Tennessee.

  7. CurriculumBible • Lecture, visuals, notes, and hands-on activities • Study notes will be in the study guide section of the binder for 3rd and in the Bible notebooks for 4th. Tests will be on Fridays. • Students will memorize a Bible verse each week. Jesus used verses from the Bible to fight Satan’s temptations, so it is important that we begin learning how to use our Christian weapons at an early age. Memory Verse Quizzes will be on Fridays.

  8. CurriculumBible • We will experience the Faith Five each week. • Highs, Lows, Bible Verse, Application, Prayer • We will also pray together in different ways: • Dial Up Method • Silently • Whole Group • Prayer Partners • Prayer Request Cards (Weekly)

  9. 3rd and 4th Grade Bible • Grades: • Memory Verses (Test every Friday) • Tests (Every Friday) • Classwork (Some quiz grades will come from random workbook checks.)

  10. Curriculum 3rd and 4th Grade Reading Accelerated Reader • Star Reading Placement Tests • Reading Level will be assigned the first week of school • Average Percentage and Points Attained (200 points) • AR Party hosted by Mrs. Lacoste • Point Goal Attained • 90% or higher

  15. 3rd and 4th Grade Spelling • Tests (Tuesday) • Pretests (Wednesday) • Workbook Pages (4 Each Lesson are due every Tuesday)
