  4. Human & Physical Features I am going to tell you some very important statistics about the Dominican Republic’s human and physical features. Furthermore, the birth rate is 23.5% for the Dominican Republic,and for the U.S.A. 14.0%. Also, the life expectancy is 72.2 for the Dominican and for the U.S.it is 78.2 years. In addition, the total area is 18,815 km. For the Dominican and for the U.S.it is 3,794,08 square miles. In conclusion, there are lots of human and physical features for the Dominican Republic and the U.S.A.

  5. Flag There are lots of things that the Dominican Republic flag represents. For example, the blue in the flag represents liberty. Also, the red stands for the fire and blood due to the struggle for independence. Furthermore, the white cross in the middle stands for the sacrifice of the people.Also, this is one of the oldest flags in the world. In conclusion, this flag is very old, and has lots of meaning to it.

  6. Government First things first, the capital of the Dominican Republic is Santo Domingo. The independence day is February 27, 1844.Also,the senate was last held in May,2010. Next,the President is Danilo Medina Sanchez. Lastly, at whatever age you get married even if you are not 18 years of age you can vote.

  7. Religion There is one main religion in the Dominican Republic,and that is Christianity. Furthermore, 95% is Roman Catholic and 5% is just other religions. Also,it was founded by Jesus Christ in C.30 AD, Israel. In conclusion, they have lots of practices.

  9. Animals, Plants, &Natural Resources There are lots of plants,animals,and natural resources in the Dominican Republic. The Hispaniolana Hutia is an important animal. It is the only Hutia still alive. Also, they grow a lot of tobacco. Furthermore, the natural resources are gold, silver,and nickel. In conclusion, they have many plants and animals,but not to many natural resources
