  2. Travel Plans • I will leave from John F. Kennedy in New York. • I will land on Las Americas International Airport. • The flight is 2hours 45minutos. • I could bring a pair of headphones and a mp3 player to listen to music.

  3. Weather • I am traveling in the summer time throughout June-August. • The weather in the D.R (Dominican Republic) is pretty hot. It’s usually around 77 degrees Fahrenheit. • I should wear jeans, short sleeve t-shirts, button-down short sleeve shirts, specially shorts, and open front shoes.

  4. Packing • Sunscreen • Pack Light • Bug Spray • Sunglasses • Toiletries

  5. Money • The type of money there’s in the Dominican Republic is called Pesos. • $1 in the Dominican Republic is 36 Pesos. • I should bring $500 to equal 18,000 pesos.

  6. Cities And Towns • Three cities are San Juan, San Pedro, and Las Vegas. • I’ve never been there. • In San Juan it’s cold, in San Pedro is hot, and in Las Vegas there’s a lot of casino’s.

  7. Famous Landmarks • 1 famous landmark is The Cord House and you should be seeing one of the first Spanish-Style houses in the New World. • Another famous landmark is the House Of Bastidas and you should be seeing a sixteenth-century mansion. • 1 more famous landmark is called El Limon and you should be seeing a big waterfall and it’s in the Samana Peninsula.

  10. Be Careful • You should be careful about tarantulas, and to wear anything expensive because they will stab you anywhere you have anything expensive. • I hope you have a nice trip to the Dominican Republic, and enjoy it!!!!
