Committee Responsibility • Monitor how Measure H funds are spent in accordance with ballot measure • Protecting strong academic programs like English, math & science • Retaining qualified teachers • Keeping schools safe • Providing classroom materials & technology • Helping maintain small class size

  4. Highlights from Bylaws • Committee exists for 6 years or until all parcel tax funds spent • Members service a two-year term • No more than 2 consecutive terms • Two meetings per year • September—budget review • June—estimated actuals review
