  3. Main ideas of the first paragraph • One ideal of early human forays into space was potential colonization of distant planets. That goal still seems far off. But today, ordinary people with enough money can visit space.

  4. New words • Adventure(冒險):escapade，risky venture，dangerous undertaking I wish to hear the details of your adventure. 我希望聽到你這次奇遇的詳情。 • Estimated(估計) He estimated the speed of the winds from thedegree of damage... 他根據破壞的程度估計風速

  12. Main ideas of the fourth paragraph • The company, Space Adventures, plans to offer a full array of space flight experience, such as soaring to the edge of space, letting passengers experience weightlessness and walking and jumping there.

  15. Main ideas of the fifth paragraph • Space Adventures isn’t the only company devising plans to launch ordinary citizens into space.

  17. Main ideas of the sixth paragraph • American entrepreneur, Robert Bigelow, meanwhile, is designing different types of space facility. His company, Bigelow Aerospace, wants to launch a series of habitable complexes in the suborbital atmosphere. His firm plans to unveil the first module, called Sun dancer.

  19. Main ideas of the seventh of paragraph • At least, two other companies, Virgin Galactic in America and EADS Atriums in Europe, are developing “rocket planes” for commercial passenger flights. • Virgin Galactic hopes to offer civilian space flights within a few years.
