  3. Golf Results • The golf team had a match with Peters Township yesterday. • The score was • Peters Twp 176 • OC 233

  4. Cheerleading tryouts for the 2013-2014 season will take place on September 3 and 5 from 2:50 to 5pm in the Aux Gym. • There will be a parent meeting on September 4 at 6pm in the lecture hall. • Please see Ms Teeters in room 211 if you have any questions.

  5. There will be a meeting for any student interested in joining the Forensics team Wednesday, September 4th after school in the lecture hall. • If you have any questions, please see Mr. MacDonald in J104. 

  6. Bookstore • The bookstore will be open from 7 - 7:50 this week.   • It will not be open during lunches, but will be open on Friday during the picnic. • Any questions see Mrs. Haslett in J101.

  7. Attention student council members: Council will be meeting this Wednesday, August 28 after school in the lecture hall. Be sure to bring your assigned materials for the picnic on Friday.

  8. Fencing Club • The fencing club will meet on September 5, after school in the OC Cafeteria. • Anyone interested in joining the Fencing Team is welcome to attend. • We will discuss the practice schedule and what the schools require to participate. • First practice will be on September 5!

  9. Tennis News • Congratulations to Marley Shovlin! • She had her 30th career win last Friday against Chartiers Valley.

  10. Picnic Ticket Sales • Tickets for the picnic will go on sale in the cafeteria during lunches starting on Wed.  • Pre-sale tickets are 25 cents each or 22 tickets for $5 (You get 2 extra).

Food & Activity Prices for the Picnic • Hamburger: $2.00 (8) • Can of soda: $.75 (3) • Cheeseburger: $2.25 (9) • Small bottle of water: $.50 (2) • Hot dog: $1.50 (6) • Large bottle of water: $1.00 (4) • Pizza: $1.50 (6) • Small Gatorade: $.75 (3) • French Fries: $1.50 (6) • Cookie: $.50 (2) • Hot Pretzel: $1.25 (5) • Ice Cream: $1.50 (6) • Cheese cup: $.50 (2) • Bagels w/cream cheese: $1.00(4) • Donuts: $.75 (3) • Pastries: $.75 (3) • Sunny D: $.50 (2) • Chocolate milk: $.75 (3) • Raffle chances: $.25 (1) put name on back!!
