The Work-Wise methodology, initiated in 1998 by the National Agency of Correctional Institutions in the Netherlands, aims to provide a comprehensive employment integration program for young offenders. This integrated approach combines multidisciplinary strategies and collaboration among various stakeholders to empower youths, enabling them to transition smoothly from custody to responsible, social living. With a focus on tailored employment pathways, the initiative has shown promising results, including significant job placements and vocational education enrollment, offering hope for reintegration into society.
