  3. Week 1st task • The week we used the potentiometer or pot. • The task is achieved by following through the CDIO method • C – Conceive • D – Design • I – Implementation • O - Operate

  4. Introduction(Week 2nd) • This week task was to use the accelerometer ADXL345. • Use the serial communication interface protocols • I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) • Two wire communication protocol • SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) • Three/ four wire serial protocol • Microcontrollers • Pic – microcontroller (I2C) • Psoc – microcontroller (SPI)

  5. Updated design • The design has been updated according to requirements

  6. Hardware and Software • The Hardware aspects • The software aspects • Pic – Microcontroller • Psoc – Microcontroller • Used I2C with PIC – microcontroller to interface accelerometer. • Used SPI with Psoc – microntroller.

  8. Problem faced • Had trouble in reading the data from the accelerometer using I2C protocol. • Due to lack of lab equipments we wasted time in borrowing things • Lack of team communication

  10. Conclusion • Through this week’s activity we learned how to make the controller accelerometer. • Learned how to interface accelerometer using SPI and I2C protocols. • Gives us a wide knowledge about the hardware and software aspects • Manage the Wiki page • Work under pressure
