  2. Festival Committee – planning a festival takes a lot of hours.

  3. Festival planning includes a lot of advertising

  4. Advertising includes time on our local radio station. This year Rita and Brandy not only appeared on WLCT-Lafayette but also a station in Cookeville.

  5. Getting ready for Festival Day takes a lot of clean up and brightening up in the city parks. Thanks to Randy East and team , the City crews and staff, and all our volunteers for their help!

  6. Breakfast in the Armour’s dining room gets Festival Day started off on a good note. Chocolate gravy, mmmm!!

  7. Jeff Poppen, the Barefoot Farmer, answers questions from our Festival guests Saturday morning.

  8. We couldn’t have done it without our volunteers!

  9. Advertising goes on even during the festival. Rita is being interviewed by Suzanne of the Macon County Times.

  10. Ila Hatter, the Lady of the Forest, shares her knowledge about edible and medicinal plants. She also led a herb walk on Saturday afternoon.

  11. First Place in Hand-Quilted category and also Best of Show winner. Congratulations Betty Sue Meador!

  12. Thanks to Sandra and Dennis Hix for providing “taxi service” around the festival grounds.

  13. A visit to the Log Cabin Village area begins with wading the creek.

  14. More volunteers at the information tent

  15. Samantha’s zucchini bread is fabulous!

  16. Reflexologist Gaye Smart was very busy in her booth in the Arts and Crafts Marketplace. She took time out to do a presentation at Speakers’ Hall.

  17. Yoga instruction with CoreeEntwistle

  18. Randy East, Macon County Historian and Archivist shares the story of Red Boiling Springs and its “healing waters.”

  19. Zippyland Adventures provided the entertainment for the young folks down near the Palace.

  20. First there is set-up then tear down. Restoring Quilt Show to Church Fellowship Room.
