  1. 2007 ACUMC Survey • 68% of Members see themselves as active and dedicated • 94 Giving Units • Membership 250-300 • 17% no response • Goal Add 25 New Families by 2008

  2. How Do We See the Church? • Friendly & Family oriented • Stable but need new members • Good Youth Program • Children’s Program needs more focus • No Young Adult programs

  3. What not to change! • The Family Feeling of the Church • Welcoming attitude • Minister • Worship services at 9am and 11am • Music at 11 o’clock service • Youth Program • Mission focus for church • Newsletter

What should we work on! • Better attendance at worship services • Church facilities and appearance • Attracting new members • Increased financial support for church missions • Children’s programs • Bring back Children’s Service • Fix timing and music for 9am service • Improve Pot Luck Dinners • Communications with members • Church Calendar and Website

  5. Worship Service Actions • Children’s Sermon is back • 9AM service suggestions for children programs implemented • Commitment for music at early service • Children’s Council created to keep programs on track

Leadership & Communications Actions • Adult, Youth and Children’s Council implemented 2007 • Membership Task Force create 2007 • Commitment to a quarterly theme • Commitment to church calendar • Newsletter on web and mailed to homes • Improved financial updates in newsletter • Website under review

  7. Fellowship and Missions • Adult, Youth and Children’s Council will adopt missions and fellowship events • Asking members to be involved in one administrative and one mission area • Pot Luck Dinners adopted by small groups • Improve the church with hands on projects
