    2. All about the Wichita Indian Tribe!!!!!!!!

    3. How the tribe looks and dressed like.

    4. What they wear (con.) In religious ceremonies, the Native Americans wore fancy clothing The Wichita tribe also wore masks. Women stitched leather moccasins with hard or soft soles. Moccasins were decorated with elaborate beadwork. Men’s clothes in the summer were shirts, tunics, and leggings.

    5. What they wear Women wore skirts and dresses. In the winter they added shawls, blankets, and extra clothing.

    6. What they ate The Native Americans ate fish, corn, squash, beans, and deer.

    7. Housing (con.) The Native Americans lived in cone-shaped structures called tepees. Tepees were made out of buffalo hides sewn together. When the Native Americans had to find food or escape from enemies they could fold the tepees and transport them easily.

    8. Housing Hides were tanned and smoked so that they would be waterproof but still remain soft. Later, when horses were used for transportation, the tepees became much bigger.

    9. Native American Horses Horses gave speed to the Native Americans and changed their hunting in fighting ways. They were called “Spirit Dogs” or “Medicine Dogs”, but were much stronger and faster pack animals than real dogs.
