What do you think of when you hear the word radiation? • Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation • The difference in types of radiation is that they have different wavelengths • Sunlight contains all pigments of visible light • In plants, light energy is harvested by pigments that are located in the thylaloid membrane of chloroplasts
